A leading Indian multinational in the engineering and manufacturing sector decided to break this pattern by partnering with Jombay. With a sharp focus on building a future-ready leadership pipeline, they launched a Young Leader Development Initiative to fast-track talent hired from Tier 1 campuses.

What set this initiative apart?

While many organizations have an early-career strategy, we designed this one to make it a high-touch, in-person development experience, grounded in real-world simulations and aligned to the organization’s leadership expectations. Here are some details of the development center -

Mapped to critical leadership dimensions – The assessments were aligned to competencies defined by the organization for its’ young leaders: Leading Self, Leading Teams, Leading Change, and Leading Business & Innovation.

Designed as a high-touch assessment experience – Participants engaged in the Leadership Challenge Series, a strategic group discussion, a business case study, and Behavioral Event Interviews - each crafted to evaluate leadership potential from multiple angles.

Provided deep insight into next-level readiness – The assessment process gave the organization a clear view of which individuals were equipped to take on accelerated growth paths - and where focused development could make the biggest impact.

The result?

A structured, immersive experience that gave early-career talent meaningful insight into their potential - and gave the business a stronger foundation for future leadership decisions.
