How Glenmark Mexico is using feedback to build stronger managers

For Glenmark Mexico, listening to its people was the first step in strengthening its leadership team. For their middle level managers, the goal was to understand not just their team performance, but the perception gaps that influence collaboration, culture, and results.

That’s why they partnered with Jombay to run a 360° Feedback Survey— a structured way to capture how managers see themselves, versus how they are experienced by peers, team members, and stakeholders.

How it worked:

  • Feedback for middle managers at Glenmark was gathered across six key competencies: Understanding Self, Relationship Excellence, Building Breadth, Teamwork, Results Orientation, and Learning Agility.
  • Each participant received a detailed individual report, while leadership was provided with an exercise summary report highlighting broader themes and opportunities.

The Outcome

This wasn’t just about collecting feedback — it was about creating space for reflection. Managers gained fresh insights into their strengths and blind spots, while the organization walked away with a clear view of the sentiments on the floor and actionable data to guide development.
