Hero Housing Finance - Bringing clarity to its sales leadership pipeline

As organizations scale, having clarity on who is ready to take on larger responsibilities becomes critical. To support this, Hero Housing Finance Limited partnered with Jombay to run a structured Development Centre for Sales Managers and Area Business Heads.

The objective was to gain a deeper understanding of leadership strengths and development needs, and use these insights to support informed career progression across key sales roles. Here is how the Development Centre came together:

  • Focused on what drives success in sales leadership:
    The experience was anchored on four core capability areas - Personal Focus, People Focus, Business Focus, and Execution Focus ensuring a balanced view of how leaders operate, lead teams, and deliver results.
  • Designed around real work situations:
    Participants went through a series of structured activities including simulations, case-based discussions, and guided leadership conversations. Together, these provided a practical, role-relevant view of how leaders approach decision-making, problem-solving, and people management.
  • Clear insights for individuals and leadership teams:
    Each participant received an individual report highlighting strengths and focus areas, while leadership teams were supported with consolidated insights and stack ranks to enable structured, evidence-based talent discussions.

The Outcome

Hero Housing Finance now has greater clarity on its sales leadership bench — enabling more confident conversations around readiness, progression, and future roles. For participants, the experience offered a meaningful perspective on where they stand today and what to focus on as they grow in their careers.
