Mahindra Holidays & Resorts partnered with Jombay across two key programs to bring structure and clarity to how it develops its Branch & Resort Managers. Jombay stepped in to identify strengths and development areas, and build the capabilities required to deliver excellence across locations and experiences.

Here's how it came together:

  • Mapped to what actually matters on the ground: Both programmes were anchored to four core competencies - Ethics, Collaboration, Agility, and Bold - capabilities that directly reflect what it takes to run a high-performing resort in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • A rigorous, multi-tool assessment experience: Participants engaged in a mix of personality insights, critical thinking exercises, business case scenarios, and structured leadership interviews - creating a practical view of how they make decisions, collaborate, and drive outcomes in day-to-day operations.
  • Two distinct audiences. One consistent standard: Branch and Resort Managers were assessed through lenses calibrated to their respective roles - ensuring the insights were contextually meaningful, not generic.
  • Decisions backed by data, not gut feel: Every participant received an Individual Report. Leadership teams got Stack Rank and Exercise Summary reports - giving them a structured, side-by-side view to guide development conversations and succession planning.

What this enabled

Managers walked away with personalised clarity on their strengths and blind spots, while the organisation gained a consistent framework to make talent decisions with confidence.
