Helping Berger Paints identify the RIGHT leaders

When planning for the future, having the right people take on critical roles is key to an organization's success. That's why assessing your talent for leadership potential is crucial! Berger Paints (one of the largest paint manufacturing companies in India) understood this importance and decided to partner with us to identify people who could be groomed into future leaders.

Jombay conducted a Development Center for over 160 Middle Managers at Berger Paints to gauge the potential for senior roles and enable efficient succession planning for the organization.

Here's how we did it:

  • Focused on relevant and critical themes The Development Center was aligned to behaviors that were critical for success of a Middle Manager and were relevant to the organization. These included Result Orientation, Innovation & Change, Build & Develop Talent, Business Acumen, and Curiosity.
  • Built an Integrated Assessment Experience – Each participant was viewed through a personality, behavioral, and cognitive lens to build a holistic picture of them. Through this we were able to understand their personalities, critical thinking abilities, and leadership styles.
  • Facilitated Informed Decision Making – Individual Reports, Competency-wise Scores, and an Exercise Summary Report provided deep insights, identified areas of development & highlighted the potential of the participants on next-level readiness.

This allowed the organization to make informed decisions about succession planning and talent development.

Feedback and Impact:

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 10 and 100% completion!
